FIELD DAY  

A year-end favorite for students, families, and faculty alike, Glenwood Landing Field Day showcases the many skills taught throughout the year in Physical Education as students participate in races and relays! Because the event occurs during school hours, 100% student participation is guaranteed. Hoots and hollers always erupt from the sidelines too. The Field Day theme is always student-selected, and multi-grade level teams are assembled. Team T-shirts and a DJ are purchased by the SCA to celebrate the students' focus on teamwork and sportsmanship. This is a fun and festive annual event.

While fifth graders love to oversee the games and keep score on Field Day, they also experience their own 5th Grade Fun Day. Organized by many district PE teachers, cooperative and inclusive games are played at NS Middle or High School by the 5th Grade Students from GWL, SC and GH.
