Letter from the SCA Co-Presidents:

Dear Glenwood Landing Families,

Happy February everyone! This month is quiet with winter break occurring, but we still have a few important reminders.

We are happy to announce that C.R.E.W (Curious Readers Enthusiastic Writers) begins.  Every year we end the event with an author visit.  This year, on Tuesday, March 9, Grade 3-5, author Jennifer Calonita Smith, and on Tuesday, March 16th, Grade K-2, author Laura Vaccaro Seeger, will read out loud virtually. Autographed books make a fabulous gift or keepsake and are available for purchase. Order forms can be found HERE.

Yearbook online sales are taking place now. Every GWL student is in the year book - it’s not only for 5th graders.   Get your yearbook now! 

Virtual Talent Show is underway.  We are looking for some entertaining acts.  Don't forget to register!  More detailed information HERE.

ABOUT

The SCA represents the moms, dads, grandparents, teachers, friends and family who have one or more child attending Glenwood Landing Elementary School; and who have chosen to support our children and the association through dues, donations and volunteer time.

The SCA is proud to serve the Glenwood Landing Elementary School community. Our mission is to help our children, our greatest and most priceless asset, by producing, organizing and funding special social, cultural and academic events and programs.

MISSION STATEMENT

The SCA is organized for the purpose of supporting and enhancing the educational experiences of the School’s students by providing an organization through which the parents, school, and teachers can work cooperatively and to provide financial support for programs funded outside of the annual school budget.

Monthly membership meetings are open to all members. Please join us.

one of our co-presidents. Meeting minutes will be posted within a month of the meeting.
