Letter from the SCA Co-Presidents:
Dear Glenwood Families,
Another school year is almost finished! Let's enjoy this last month of school before summer break. There are a few more events planned for our students, so please remember these event dates:
Field Day (June 8, 2021)
5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony and Celebration (June 21, 2021)
Place your school supply order with A. Hartz for the 2021-2022 school year (deadline July 10, 2021)
Keep GWL SCA as your AmazonSmile account over the summer to continuously support our school with your purchases
Submit your interest for Class Parent for the 2021-2022 school year.
The SCA would like to thank everyone for making the 2020-2021 school year AMAZING. All that was accomplished could not have been done without the help and support from all of you, our wonderful GWL families. One such initiative that was recently completed was the re-beautification of the Japanese Garden. This joint effort between students (who provided the design), teachers (who were surveyed on how to utilize the space), and parent fundraising, is now a calming space for our children to enjoy and learn in. Please check the June e-newsletter for pictures of the newly renovated space provided by Mrs. Marcantonio, who oversaw the project.

The SCA represents the moms, dads, grandparents, teachers, friends and family who have one or more child attending Glenwood Landing Elementary School; and who have chosen to support our children and the association through dues, donations and volunteer time.
The SCA is proud to serve the Glenwood Landing Elementary School community. Our mission is to help our children, our greatest and most priceless asset, by producing, organizing and funding special social, cultural and academic events and programs.
The SCA is organized for the purpose of supporting and enhancing the educational experiences of the School’s students by providing an organization through which the parents, school, and teachers can work cooperatively and to provide financial support for programs funded outside of the annual school budget.
Monthly membership meetings are open to all members. Please join us.
If you would like to submit an item for inclusion on the agenda, please contact
one of our co-presidents. Meeting minutes will be posted within a month of the meeting.
