OCTOBER 2026 NEWSLETTER

A MESSAGE FROM OUR SCA CO-PRESIDENTS

Dear GWL Families,

Fall is officially here, and we have some awesome community events right around the corner!

First up is Boosterthon, running from October 5th through October 16th. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it is what makes it possible for the SCA to sponsor so many amazing school-wide initiatives and enrichment programs for our kids!

Right in the middle of all that excitement, we would love to hang out with you at our next SCA meeting on Tuesday, October 15th at 7:30 PM. We are switching things up and meeting at La Spezia in Sea Cliff. Come grab a bite, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, and catch up with other parents while we vote on this year's budget.

Then, we have our big Halloween celebrations! Our annual Trunk or Treat is happening at Tappen Beach Marina on Friday, October 23rd—grab your costumes, decorate your trunk, and come ready for some fun. If it rains, we will move the fun to Tuesday, October 27th. Finally, mark down Friday, October 30th at 2:00 PM for our classic Halloween Parade right on the GWL front lawn.

Scroll down for all the details and latest updates!

Warmly,

Serena Mooney & Nicole Muia
