Hello Glenwood Landing Families,


Another school year is almost finished! Let's enjoy this last month of school before summer break. There are a few more events planned for our students, so please remember these event dates:

  • Field Day (June 2nd)
  • End of Year BBQ (June 3rd) - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! (see below)
  • Grade Level Year End Parties (June 13-14th) 
  • 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony and Celebration (June 16th)

Some reminders:

  • Place your school supply order with A. Hartz for the 2022-2023 school year (deadline July 8th)
  • Keep GWL SCA as your AmazonSmile account over the summer to continuously support our school with your purchases
  • Submit your interest for Class Parent for the 2022-2023 school year here. 

The SCA would like to thank everyone for making the 2021-2022 school year AMAZING. All that was accomplished could not have been done without the help and support from all of you, our wonderful GWL families. We hope everyone has a relaxing, fun filled summer. And stay tuned!  Planning for the next school year is underway; we'll be in touch.

The GWL End of Year Celebrations for your children will take place in school on June 13th (Gr. 2,3,4) and June 14th (Gr. K & 1). At the celebrations there will be a few fun stations, sponsored by the SCA, for the children to enjoy, including crafts planned by class parents and the ever-popular inflatables! 

On the day of your child's party please send them with the following items: 

  • Labeled water bottle
  • Towel and individual snack
  • Have sunscreen applied before arrival

*5th grade has their special celebration on June 16th.

We wish the GWL 5th graders the best of luck in moving up to NSMS! You will be missed! Congratulations!

Thank you to Maria Palmieri for all her hard work in chairing another amazing and successful Parents' Night Out event! Thank you to all parents who also volunteered to make the event a huge success! 

Thank you to Renee Monte, Rachael Bowen, Lauren Emmert, & Maria Palmieri for hosting an amazing luncheon for our faculty and staff!
