‘Tis the season! December is here and the SCA would like to wish everyone a wonderful start to the holiday season! We know that December can be a hectic month, so we want to send a few reminders your way.
- Spirit Day is Friday, December 2nd.
- Square1Art orders are due Monday, December 5th.
- Early Dismissal for Conferences- December 8th | 10:40am.
- School Closed for Conferences - December 9th.
- GWL Winter Concert - December 13th | 7pm.
Glenwood Landing School is once again partnering with Little Saint Nick Foundation in hopes of collecting toys to donate to children in local hospitals. Everyone is invited to donate a toy to this worthy cause. Please refer to the email that went out last week for more information.
There is no SCA member meeting this month. The next member meeting is Tuesday, January 10th @ 7pm.
If you placed a Spirit Wear pre order for a tumbler or blanket, those will be delivered to your child's classroom soon. Stay tuned for our next Spirit Wear pop up sale! We just might have some tumblers, blankets and other fun new merchandise...
Please also check out two amazing fundraisers below that directly benefit the 5th grade. All proceeds go to the GWL 5th Grade Celebration!
And last but not least, the 2023 CREW event is coming in January! Our Curious Readers Enthusiastic Writers event takes place during the entire month. A best-selling children's author will be visiting GWL on January 26th, but we can't tell you who it is just yet since it's a surprise for students. Keep an eye on your email for a form to order books autographed by this amazing author! Orders will be due December 16th in order to receive the books in time for the special event in January.
